This is the living room of one of the houses we are going to look at next weekend. Josh has already explained to me how we can deal with the wooden beam in the ceiling (we’ve seen a few houses with this phenomenon) so I’m cool with that. Walls can be painted, floors can eventually be replaced (the tile isn’t too bad). I just can’t get past the ugly fireplace. Off to look for some ideas.
